Move Inventory Part

Overview

This flow is used to scan or enter a part or GTIN number to move the locations for the parts in stock including quantities, Handling Unit, Serial & Lot/Batch information.

The complete overview of the flow:

Steps

Enter From Location

• From Location is required.

• Click on the List button to see a list of locations.

Enter Part/GTIN

• Part No is mandatory and should exist in the From Location entered in the previous step.

• Click on the List button to see a list of parts that satisfy the above condition.

Enter Quantity To Move

• Enter Qty to Move/Catch Qty to Move as required.

• Quantity must be less than or equal to the available quantity to move.

Enter To Location

• To Location No is required.

• Click on the List button to see a list of To locations.

Select Destination

• Select either Move to inventory or Move to transit.

Select Availability Control

• Select the required Availability Control. The options are as follows:

  • Same as From Location.

  • Same as To Location.

  • New Availability Control Id.

Add Note

• Enter a note additionally.
