Submit Absence Requests

Overview

The Entering Absence Requests application allows employees to easily request time off, view their history of absences, and track the status of pending requests. Integrated with the IFS ERP system, the application ensures seamless communication and process flow.


Step 1: Enter Request Details

Upon launching the application:

  • Fill in the following fields:

    • Absence Type: Select from a dropdown menu. Each type displays:

      • Allowed limit

      • Utilized amount

      • Remaining balance

  • From Date & To Date: Pick dates using the built-in calendar.

  • Comments (Optional): Add any additional notes.

  • Out of Office Contact: Designate a colleague for coverage during your absence.

  • Below the form, a table lists:

    • Ongoing absence requests

    • Their current statuses

  • Click on the History tab to view previously submitted and processed requests.


Step 2: Review Request

After filling in all fields:

  • Click Next to proceed to the Review Screen.

  • Confirm the following details:

    • Absence Type

    • Duration

    • Comments (if any)

    • Out of Office contact


Step 3: Submit Request

  • After reviewing, click Submit.

  • The system will:

    • Automatically send an email notification to:

      • The requesting employee

      • The designated manager

      • The Out of Office contact
