Report Indirect Time

Register Employee Indirect Time

General

This function is used to report any indirect time that the shop floor user has to report such as meetings, routine cleaning, emergency drills, etc. The clocking is reported against employees and captured to work centers.

Functionality

Pre Requisites

  • Reporting Mode must be set to Employee Reporting on the used site.

  • An Employee must have been set up in the Shop Floor Employee window.

  • Indirect jobs must have been set up in the Indirect Jobs window.

  • To report from the time clock, the employee should be a time clock user. When reporting as a team, all the employees in the team should be time clock users.

One indirect clocking will be created for each employee entered.

If the Allow Concurrent Operation is set to No in the Shop Floor Employees window, ongoing clockings for the employee will be stopped.

Start Indirect

The logged-in user can press the Start/Stop Indirect Button to start an indirect time. The user can select the work center. If the user selects an operation and presses the button, the selected work center is automatically fetched.

Select the Indirect Job Id and enter the clocking note. Employees can be added so the indirect time will be clocked against them as well. The clocking is recorded into IFS.

Stop Indirect

When the user wants to stop an Indirect Job the user can press the Start/Stop Indirect button and if there is an ongoing Indirect Job it will be shown. Other employees can be added and the clocking can be stopped.
