1. Filters
With this pane, users can filter the Shop Order Operations table.
These filters can be: - Shop Order - Operation Id - Work Center - Sched Resource - Dispatch Rule - Selection - Department No - Labor Class |
To clear the filtering, click on the 'Clear' and 'Filter' buttons again.
2. Operator, operation, operation status details
This pane contains 3 sections:
Portlet | Description |
Operator | Shows some basic information about the logged-in operator and the current work center |
Operation | Shows the selected operation line basic data such as order number, operation number, remaining quantity, and the state of materials |
Operation status | Shows the actual state of the selected operation. Every state has its own background-color |

3. Guidelines
This table shows the guidelines connected to the selected operation. If signoff is required, then the Signoff and/or Inspection Signoff buttons will be enabled.
Column | Description |
No | This number is used to sequence the order in which the work guidelines are performed. |
Signed By | The identity of the employee entered in the Shop Floor Reporting when sign-off was performed. |
Type | The type of work guideline. Possible values are ‘Instruction’ and ‘Subtask’. Subtask type guidelines are only valid for routing components. The only difference between a guideline type Instruction and Subtask is that a Subtask may require a signoff or inspection. |
Guideline | The text of the work guideline. |
4. Shop Order Operations
This table shows all the operations available to the logged-in user.
Available functions from table header:
Button | Description |
Start or stop a setup session or the production on the selected operation | |
Start or stop and report a machine downtime on the work center | |
Approve the selected operation | |
Report scrap on the operation | |
Start or stop an indirect process | |
Upload a media item or a document file attached to the operation | |
Create MRB | Create a new MRB case |
Receive By-Products | Receive by-products per operation |
5. Button pane
It contains the available functions on the selected Shop Order operation. Some of the functions are not available on the selected operation, in this case, the button still remains disabled.
Users can control the following functions on this pane:

Start/Stop | Start or stop a setup or production |
Downtime | Report downtime on work center |
Approve Op | Approve the selected operation |
Report Scrap | Report scrap on the operation |
Start/Stop Indirect | Start or stop indirect process |
Receive SO | Manual receive the operation’s part |
Create MRB | Create an MRB case |
Issue Material | Issue all materials on the operation |
Inspection | Register analysis results |

6. Bottom pane with operation details tabs
This section contains 7 different tabs. These are:
Assignments
By-Products
Clockings
Material
Control Plan
Documents
Tools
Assignments
Represents the assigned employees to the selected operation.
By-Product
Shows the selected operation’s by-products and users can use the top left button to receive by-products.
Clockings
Shows the reported machine and labor time on the selected operation.
Material
This tab contains the allocated materials to the operation, and in addition, users can handle the material issue or manual material issue.
Control Plan
Shows the available control plan for the selected operation and users can report inspection and report the results.
Documents
Presents the uploaded document and media files, and users can download and check these files.
Tools
Contains the tools on the selected operation and users can report tool usage.
