Circular Gauge Portlets are used to display data through a circular gauge, providing a visual representation of values within a defined range.

General

General data is required for all portlets, see .

Events

To set up an event, see .

Data

To set up a data source, see .

Data source columns

In the data source column, you can change column names and set their types. Click Manage to access a grid view of the configuration.

Presentation

  • Value: The needle pointer in the circular gauge, also displayed as a number below the graphic.

  • Unit: The unit of measurement for the value (optional).

  • Description: A description of the value (optional).

  • Min: The minimum value and starting point of the circular gauge scale, which can be set as a variable or manually input.

  • Max: The maximum value and endpoint of the circular gauge scale, which can be set as a variable or manually input.

  • Step: The value increment between each scale marker, which can be set as a variable or manually input.

Style

  • Pointer Color: The color of the needle pointer.

  • Primary Range Color: The primary color of the scale.

  • Alternate Range Color: The secondary color of the scale.

  • Display Only Color Rule: Check this box if only the color rule's color should be displayed. If the box is checked and no color rules are defined, only the frame of the gauge will be displayed.

Range Color Rules

The speedometer can have one or more scale color rules, which override the default scale colors.

To add a new rule:

  1. Click Add.

  2. Select a color.

  3. Enter a Start and End value. The value can be either a fixed value or a variable selected from the drop-down menu.

  4. Preview the result or save the changes.

To configure portlet title and header stripe, see .
