Containers

A container is a group of two or more portlets used to visualize information that belongs together. Containers can be created using the Cut, Copy, or Paste actions in a portlet header.

To create a clipboard, select Copy or Cut from the three-dot context menu in the portal header. Copy or cut all portlets that you want to add to the clipboard. Once done, drag the clipboard into the design area to create a container.

Portlets can be added to a container by using the Paste action in an existing container header or via the clipboard.

General Information

All containers require some general information to function correctly:

• Title: The name of the container.

• Type: Configure how the container should display the portlets:

  • Horizontally

  • Vertically

  • Stacked as tabs

• Auto-hide Header: Select this option to hide the container header in the portlet.

• Export: Use this option to export the container.

• Portlets Order: Drag and drop the portlets to change the order in which they are displayed.
