Flow Connect Assistant

Flow Connect Assistant helps you navigate Help articles and learn how to use Flow Connect. You can start with a suggested question or write your own.

Walkthrough

Open the assistant

  1. Go to Home in Hub.

  2. Find the Resources panel on the right.

  3. Click Ask Flow Connect Assistant to open the chat, as shown in the screenshots.

  1. If you prefer, click the question mark icon in the bottom right to open it from anywhere in Hub.

Start a conversation

  1. Pick a suggested question or place the cursor in the input field.

  2. Ask something specific, for example:

    • “What is a package in Flow Connect”

    • “How do I publish an app in Flow Connect”

    • “How do roles work in Flow Connect”

  3. For longer scenarios, describe the outcome you want. Example prompt: “In Flow Connect, I want the purchaser to enter an item to buy and a price, after submit the manager must approve before authorization. Show me the steps.”

  4. The assistant includes links and references in its replies.

When to switch tools

  • If your question needs FlowScript code or code review, move to FlowScript Copilot.

  • If your question is about Flow Classic, use Classic resources. The assistant is focused on Flow Connect only.


Prompting tips

  1. Include the product name. Add “in Flow Connect” to your question. This helps the assistant target the correct features.

  2. State your goal. “I want an approval step after submit” is clearer than “I need help”.

  3. Add where you are. Mention Home, Apps, Users, or another area if relevant.

  4. Share any error text in quotes. Exact wording improves the answer.

  5. Ask one thing at a time. If you have several goals, send them as separate questions.

  6. Prefer action words. “Create,” “publish,” “assign,” “approve” guide the assistant to procedures.

  7. If you need examples, say “show steps” or “give an example flow”.

  • “How do I create a token key for an automation in Flow Connect”

  • “What is the difference between a package and an app in Flow Connect”

  • “How can I add an approval step after a user submits a form in Flow Connect”

  • “Where can I download Flow Connect clients”


Known limits

  • The assistant focuses on Flow Connect content. It does not cover Flow Classic.

  • Code heavy tasks are better handled by FlowScript Copilot.

  • The assistant can still make mistakes or hallucinate, if needed verify answers with the official documentation

You can provide feedback in the assistant, this helps improve the quality of responses.
