# IFS Cloud
## Overview
The Fixed Asset Counting application is designed to support the physical verification and auditing of fixed assets within the IFS environment. The solution provides a simplified and mobile-friendly process for performing fixed asset counting activities efficiently using mobile devices.
The application enables users to:
* Access assigned physical count records.
* Verify the existence of fixed assets using barcode scanning or manual selection.
* Update asset statuses during the counting process.
* Add notes and image attachments for audit evidence.
* Modify selected asset-related information directly from the mobile interface.
## Functionality
### Pre-requisites
Before using the application, ensure the following prerequisites are fulfilled:
* Access to the IFS environment.
* Existing “Object Physical Count” records created in IFS.
* Mobile device (phone or tablet) with internet connectivity.
* Barcode scanning capability on the mobile device.
#### User Requirements
* User must have authorization to access Object Physical Count records.
* User should have access rights to update asset statuses, notes, and attachments.

### Steps
#### Step 1 – Select Physical Count
Users can view and select available “Object Physical Count” records that are currently in the **Created** status.
**Process**
1. Open the application.
2. Navigate to the **Select Physical Count** screen.
3. Select the required Object Physical Count from the available list.
**Features**
* Displays all Physical Counts with status **Created**.
* Single selection functionality.

#### Step 2 – Objects to Count List
After selecting a Physical Count, the application displays all fixed assets associated with the selected count.
Users can:
* Review asset details and statuses.
* Select one or multiple assets.
* Update counting statuses in bulk.
**Available Actions**
| Action | Description |
| ----------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Exists | Marks selected assets as “Exists”. |
| Missing | Marks selected assets as “Missing”. |
| Clear Status | Removes the assigned status from selected assets. |
| Close FA Counting | Completes the Physical Count when all assets are marked as “Exists”. |
| Detailed Counting | Opens detailed counting for selected assets. |
**Process**
1. Review the list of fixed assets.
2. Select one or more assets.
3. Perform one of the available actions:
* Mark as Exists
* Mark as Missing
* Clear status
4. If detailed verification is required, click **Detailed Counting**.

* Checkboxes indicate whether notes exist for an asset.
* The **Close FA Counting** option is only available when all assets are marked as **Exists**.

#### Step 3 – Select FA Object
The user can select a specific fixed asset for detailed processing.
**Selection Methods**
* Manual selection from the list.
* Barcode scanning.
**Process**
1. Select a fixed asset from the displayed list.
2. Alternatively, scan the asset barcode.
3. The application navigates to the **Simple View** screen.

The list displays all assets from the selected Physical Count or only selected assets from the previous step.

#### Step 4 – Simple View
The Simple View provides a simplified overview of the selected fixed asset.
**Information Displayed**
* Basic fixed asset information.
* Current Physical Count status.
**Available Actions**
| Action | Description |
| ------------ | ------------------------------- |
| Exists | Marks the asset as “Exists”. |
| Missing | Marks the asset as “Missing”. |
| Clear Status | Clears the current status. |
| Details | Opens the Detailed View screen. |
**Process**
1. Review the displayed asset information.
2. Update the asset status if required.
3. Click **Details** to open the Detailed View.

Once a status is updated, the asset is removed from the processing list passed from previous stages.

#### Step 5 – Detailed View
The Detailed View provides extended functionality for managing and documenting fixed assets.
**Features**
* View pinned steps and related attachments.
* Add notes to the Physical Count.
* Upload image attachments.
* Modify selected asset information.
* Update Alternative Estimated Life values.
**Editable Fields**
* Object Group
* Object Class
* Supplier
* Owner
* Alternative Estimated Life
**Available Actions**

| Add Photo |
Uploads a photo attachment to the asset in IFS.

| Add Notes |
Adds notes related to the Physical Count.

| Save | Saves all updated values to IFS. |
**Process**
1. Review the asset details and existing attachments.
2. Modify editable fields if necessary.
3. Add notes or photos as supporting evidence.
4. Click **Save** to update the information in IFS.

* Owner must be entered manually.
* Existing notes and attachments can be reviewed before adding new records.
